Kitschy retro track for the hustle and bustle of transportation in a metropolitan setting. I imagine a scene from the first act of a comedic movie in the 50's/60's. There's a little bit of Gershwin influence in the orchestration (but not a lot).

This track is available for scoring, and also acts as a demo of some of my stylistic capabilities. If you'd like to commission custom work, please get in touch. I'm always interested in new projects.

This style is super cheesy, but you'd never guess how time consuming it is to orchestrate/arrange! It's also a HUGE pain in the butt trying to produce. Most instrument libraries are geared towards one thing or another (let's face it, mostly pop music or epic Hollywood orchestral) so getting the instruments to sound genre-correct takes a lot of aggravating work. It's also harmonically dense. Some of the voicings still sound a bit funky to my ears, but I'm done working on this. If you're a musician, I urge you to give it a go. You'll waste days or weeks of your life on it and when you finally release it to the public, people will tell you it reminds them of Ren & Stimpy or It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. They'll never understand. They'll. never. understand. If you're working on something and need custom music, please get in touch. I especially enjoy working on animation.

This is yet another exploration of the light kitschy music of the 1950's. It's been some time since I've updated this collection of tracks and I feel it's appropriate that I pick things back up in a similar place to where I left off. Since the last posting, I've done some deeper study into the orchestration and arrangement practices of the time period, and managed to come up with something I think is a bit closer to being era appropriate.
